Joe brings over 30 years of experience in government operations and the navigation of where public and private financial environments intersect or overlap.
Joe served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for over 20 years and led a team which investigated various financial, corruption, and civil rights violations throughout the state of Alaska. Joe also coordinated the creation and operation of multiple task forces with federal, state, local, and private industry partners.
Joe acted as a certified adjunct faculty member for the FBI, and has trained both law enforcement and private entities both domestically and globally in various financial analysis tactics and techniques.
Joe has managed a number of financial and project management engagements for multiple U.S. State Department overseas missions, which included the creation and implementation of an integrated accounting and inventory system which was then duplicated and used for a multitude of Department of State projects.
Joe earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business, while commercial fishing for salmon during the summers in Alaska’s Bristol Bay region.
